We are a small company consisting of passionate photographers. We love to photograph using film. The image look of analog photos is simply great.

The ever-increasing film prices have led us to look for an alternative. From this thought, RealAnalogFilm was born. And to be honest, we hate scanning analog photos.

Our passion for analog photography combined with technical know-how led us to develop Lightroom presets that make the images look exactly like analog.

We have taken it even further. To get even more of an analog feeling, we have taped over the LCD displays on our cameras. (Ok, you don't have to do this if you have a Leica M10-D. Oh, God how we love this camera.)

It works great on cameras that have an optical viewfinder. On other cameras, we use hotshoe viewfinders. (If you use olympus check out the OVF mode!)

Furthermore, we only use 1GB memory cards. Usually, the same amount of shots fit on one card as on a roll of film. 1GB cards are sometimes hard to come by. For this reason, we also use larger cards and create a large file on the card to reduce the storage space.

Ok, you could take it even further. Some of us here do that... they buy a new SD card every time and leave the images on the SD card as if it were real film.

Absurd? Probably for most people :-D
