Ricoh GR III Kodak Portra 400 Profile
It feels like having a roll of film inside with this profile. Using my Ricoh GR III and GR III X, I get very close to the Kodak Portra 400 or 800 look. It's a fun way to bring the charm of analog photography into the digital world. The Ricoh GR III already produces excellent SOOC JPGs, but these adjustments make it feel even more like shooting on film.

My Kodak Portra Settings for the Ricoh GR III
Positive Film Mode
Saturation: +1
Hue: -4
High/Low Key Adjustment: +3
Contrast: -3
Contrast (Highlight): -4
Contrast (Shadow): +4
Sharpness: 0
Shading: 0
Clarity: 0
White Balance
Shade (Setting to 0:A14)
These settings soften the image and bring out those creamy, warm colors that are characteristic of Kodak Portra 400 / 800. The contrast adjustments, in particular, help balance the highlights and shadows without making the image too harsh.
Update:
By chance, I just came across the video that Jason Vong made about my Portra recipe. Back then, I had the recipe on my old blog tomasography.com. Thank you, Jason, for the great video. I'm really glad you're enjoying it so much!
My Workflow
The photos come straight out of the camera, with no editing needed. I only add a bit of grain in Lightroom to perfect the film look. This step is optional, but it gives the photos that final touch of authenticity.
Here are a few sample images using these settings:
